death is never an easy thing
no matter how strong you think you might be
i came to terms with my own mortality years ago
i'm fully aware that my days here are numbered
and i'm ready to go whenever my time is up
we are all in the same boat
it's a race against the clock for each and everyone of us
but no matter how prepared you may be for your own death
it's never easy accepting the loss of those who we love and cherish so dearly
it's hard to fight back those memories of yesterday
without teardrops flooding the eyes
i use to think death was so tragic
but for some life becomes their tragedy
and death their only means of escape
from such pain and suffering

 

today i mourn the loss of my cousin and good friend
a beautiful person inside and out
she will be greatly missed
