nothing in life is guaranteed
unless of course
you have a copy of your receipt
and returned the warranty card before the expiration date
but even that is never a sure thing
however one thing in life is certain
no one is perfect
and if you think you are
then you're only fooling yourself
if you're expecting others around you to be perfect
then you might as well forget it
cause it ain't going to happen
you can drive yourself crazy trying to be something you're not
and you can drive others away trying to change them
lesson in life number one
love yourself
lesson number two
love all others
accept people as they are
and in return they will do the same for you
don't be so quick to judge people
if we were all exactly the same
the world would be a pretty boring place
perfektion is overrated
people spend fortunes trying to achieve it
while others are willing to kill for it
is it really that important
? ? ?
nations fighting nations
religions against religions
it's crazy
! ! !
you can't change the world
and the world can't change you
so be yourself
and accept yourself for who you are
remember to respect yourself
as well as those around you
if everyone showed a little more respect
we wouldn't have wars
you can't control the world
but you can control the space around you
make your space a happy place
a place where others will feel loved
laugh as often as you can
and give whenever possible
kindness is contagious
forgiveness should not be forgotten
remember those who remembered you
and even those who did not
take each day as it comes
make every minute count
things aren't always going to go your way
make adjustments when needed
avoid confrontations when you can
try to make the best of everything you do
and most importantly
don't forget to smile
a smile can go along way
